The Sheriff's Office is looking for a highly motivated person with exceptional customer service skills to be a part of our service oriented team. Are you a multi-tasker with a positive outlook?
You will support the Civil Enforcement Division by entering confidential data from legal documents that enforce court actions to include but are not limited to: subpoenas, orders, complaints, summons, evictions and garnishments. Administrative tasks such as opening mail, processing mail, operating a xerox machine, faxing and computer operations. Demonstrate excellent customer service while assisting the public by phone or in person. Communicate with law enforcement agencies and court personnel on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications
VOCATIONAL / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT : Requires high school diploma or GED and any combination of education and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education in office technology, information systems, or a closely related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT : In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of three months of related, full-time equivalent experience. SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES : Special skills or equipment certification may be required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
