Position: SharePoint/Power Platform Developer

Location - Atlanta GA and South Florida metro (Local Needed)

Position Type: Contract 2 Hire Role

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop well-structured canvas and model-driven applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

• Create and customize SharePoint lists and forms using Power Apps to optimize data collection with business logic and dynamic user interfaces.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Dataverse) and third-party applications and languages (Power Query M Formula Language, DAX, Microsoft Power Fx).

• Practical experience with version control systems like SVN/GIT/TFS/Azure DevOps/GitHub.

• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

• Provide technical support, end-user training, and troubleshoot existing solutions.

• Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.

• Create data visualizations and reports using Power BI.

• Manage roles and permissions in Power Platform and SharePoint environments.

• Design data models and update tables, columns, data types, and relationships.

• Develop Azure logic apps and functions.

• Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.

• Debug and reverse engineer existing code.

• Maintain and improve existing applications, including Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Produce ad hoc data queries and reports and develop systems to capture or analyze operational and financial data.

• Adopt, execute, and improve governance and configuration processes.

• Design SharePoint lists, Dataverse tables, and Microsoft lists.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.

• Participate in project delivery efforts, including scheduling, coordination, and delegation of assigned tasks.

• Provide software development support, including data maintenance, performance optimization, and change request modifications.

• Perform general administration duties, including security implementation, end-user, and group account maintenance, and change management activities.

• Resolve user service and support requests, work orders, and trouble tickets.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Ability to adapt to an existing infrastructure with various languages and back-end data.

• Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting systems and software applications, including multi-platform operating systems and third-party applications.

• Experience providing end-user support, prioritizing, and escalating service needs.

• Ability to work under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and resolve or escalate system issues.

• Proven organizational, planning, customer service, and response skills.

• Self-starter who can meet project scope and timeline requirements.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies as well as Object-Oriented Design and Programming best practices.

In addition to the above, the duties and responsibilities of a Senior SharePoint Power Platform Developer may include,

but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform senior-level support and development for reporting systems utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Teams, SharePoint, Azure, and other Microsoft technologies.

• Provide input and recommendations for developing, implementing, and maintaining company policies, procedures, and network administration/engineering training plans.

• As directed, schedule, delegate, and supervise the efforts of junior Programmers/Developers.

• Plan, implement, lead, and train other Programmers/Developers in related systems upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment.

• Participate in recruitment initiatives and professional development of short and long-term employee goals.

• Participate in and potentially lead regular team meetings.
