Where you'll work: This fully remote opportunity allows you the flexibility to work from home in support of Epsilon's WAPA Customer. Our Customer's Mission: The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is a federal agency under the United States Department of Energy (DOE) that manages and operates high-voltage electric transmission systems across 15 western states. WAPA's mission is to market and deliver reliable, cost-based, renewable power and transmission services to its customers, while also promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. WAPA also manages and markets power from 56 federal hydroelectric power plants, which generate clean and renewable energy for 40 million customers. Epsilon provides comprehensive and high-quality IT support to WAPA in the areas of; Software maintenance and development, Network, Database, and Operations Support/Management, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Cyber-Security, Solution Architecture, and Project Management. An average day: As SharePoint O365 Developer III, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform applications to meet organizational and customer needs. This role works across IT and business teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and user-focused solutions using Microsoft 365 tools. The developer will manage software changes, develop business applications, support end users, and ensure alignment with ITIL, Agile, and federal standards. In this position you will: Apply and manage software releases to production in compliance with documented configuration management and change control processes. Administer, support, and enhance SharePoint Online and O365 applications, including troubleshooting issues and managing user access. Design, develop, and deploy low-code/no-code business applications using Power Apps and automate workflows using Power Automate. Collaborate with stakeholders and federal managers to gather requirements and define technical solutions aligned with business needs. Promote a COTS-first approach to development, using standard functionality before implementing custom solutions. Ensure all production releases are approved, documented, and auditable, and support resolution of audit findings. Monitor application performance and workflows, resolving issues and optimizing performance as needed. Maintain and update incident management systems and provide accurate status reporting for support tickets and ongoing work. Create and deliver user training, documentation, and technical guidance to end-users and project teams. Support Agile and ITIL-aligned project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and cloud-based software best practices. Basic Qualifications: As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C), Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. 8+ years of experience in SharePoint development (SharePoint Online preferred). 4+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange integration. Experience in application support, account management, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and cloud platform management concepts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to train and support end-users across functional areas. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with governance and compliance practices in Federal environments. Knowledge of Azure services and Power BI. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate).
