Overview Sharepoint Developer (IRS 508):
Bowhead seeks a SharePoint Developer to work with the Section 508 Program Office within the US Department of the Treasury's, Office of Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This agency provides wide support Assistive Technology (AT) as a reasonable accommodations and technical Section 508 guidance for IRS projects and Agency initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for creating and updating SharePoint forms, interfaces, dashboards, and processes. They will also manage interconnections with other SharePoint resources and databases. The role involves developing automations and integrations using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other standard SharePoint tools.
Responsibilities - Form and Interface Development: Design and implement SharePoint forms and user interfaces to meet business needs. Ensure forms are user-friendly and effectively capture and process data.
- Dashboard and Process Creation: Develop and maintain dashboards and business processes within SharePoint to enhance data visualization and workflow efficiency.
- Integration and Automation: Utilize Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other SharePoint tools to create automations and integrations. Ensure seamless data flow and process automation within the SharePoint environment.
- Resource Interconnection: Establish and manage connections between SharePoint resources and databases. Ensure effective data exchange and integration with existing systems.
- Compliance and Security: Adhere to security protocols by avoiding the use of scripts, applications, or tools outside of the authorized SharePoint environment. Ensure all developments comply with IRS security policies.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint issues. Address user concerns and provide solutions to ensure smooth operation of SharePoint resources.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions, including forms, dashboards, and processes. Document integration and automation workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of work experience
- 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer, with a strong background in creating and managing SharePoint forms, dashboards, and processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SharePoint development and customization
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
- Familiarity with SharePoint workflows, list and library management, and permissions
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team enviornment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain an IRS Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for MBI clearance at this location.
