Mungo Homes is adding a SharePoint Developer to our IT team in our Corporate office in Irmo, SC.

The SharePoint Developer is a professional classification that is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance SharePoint solutions, customizing the platform to meet organizational needs, building web applications, and potentially training staff on the system. The SharePoint Developer also ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to values enabling staff and volunteers to meet organizational goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Improve the overall business process and operational level functioning of an organization using SharePoint expertise.

• Possesses interpersonal phone skills, written and verbal communications skills, strong customer service; has the ability to function under general supervision with limited direct instruction working independently with a high level of productivity.

• Ability to troubleshoot and track end-user issues and requests.

• Work with IT business analysts, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to solicit and analyze business requirements and desired results.

• Performs monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshoots system hardware, software, networks, operating systems. Designs and runs system load/stress testing; escalates application problems to vendor.

• Develops system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishes and tests disaster recovery policies and procedures; completes back-ups and maintains system documentation.

• Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and partners; develops, tests, evaluates, and installs enhancements and new software.

• Works with Mungo Homes' MSP to ensure best practices are used, and data availability is maintained.

• Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

• Assists in budget preparation by recommending systems requirements, tools, equipment, contract services, critical spare parts, and related expenditures.

• Requisitions parts and materials, contacts vendors for pricing of specialized parts and services, and oversees and inspects work performed by outside vendors and contractors.

• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Maintains accurate system documentation and knowledgebase.

• Drives company vehicles.

Education and/or Experience: An Associate Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: : Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or similar computer certification is desired but not required.
