Accentuate Staffing is working with a well-established public-sector organization that is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support their internal systems modernization efforts. This client maintains a variety of on-premise and cloud-based platforms and is currently transitioning into a more scalable and collaborative digital environment. This role is integral to ensuring platform stability, enabling ongoing system upgrades, and contributing to broader organizational initiatives tied to enterprise content management.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with deep experience in SharePoint administration, particularly within both on-prem and online environments. This position requires someone who can independently manage infrastructure upgrades, support migrations, and provide cross-functional support across technical and non-technical teams. Candidates should bring hands-on experience with Windows Server, PowerShell scripting, and tools used for system migration and compliance support.




Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform SharePoint and Windows Server upgrades across multiple farm environments
  • Lead the transition of legacy team sites from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
  • Execute SharePoint version upgrades including from 2016 to the Subscription Edition, supporting LOB system integrations
  • Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for IT, developers, and end users
  • Ensure platform stability and coordinate with internal teams to address system performance and integration needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SharePoint administration experience with versions 2016, 2019, or Subscription Edition
  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint Online, including migrations and administrative support
  • Proficiency with Windows Server environments and PowerShell for scripting and automation
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with tools such as ShareGate, KnowledgeLake, or Collabware CLM is a plus

  • Maintaining the visual design, site navigation and site content
  • Provide extensive technical web application support and administration
