Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. is a Los Angeles-based law firm specializing in California lemon law. We represent clients across the state who have purchased defective vehicles that qualify as lemons.


We are seeking a detail-oriented Settlement Manger (Case Manager) to join our dynamic case management team. The Settlement Manger position is a full-time, salaried position, with the responsibility of managing tasks and activities as assigned and required by the Director of the Case Management Department and their assigned Paralegal and/or Attorney. This position and its related functions require interaction with many aspects of the Company. The overall effectiveness of the person in this role understands the importance of facilitating all content that flows between the Company's internal and external customers. Consistently showing responsibility for matters that have been delegated until completed is essential to achieve the desired results in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and support all legal efforts
  • Providing feedback on all functions
  • Act as the point of contact for the Client, Paralegal and lead Attorney
  • Suggest strategies to improve quality and efficiency or other enhancements.
    • Promote the Company philosophy and team atmosphere
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service
  • As necessary reach out to client from time to time to update them on the progress of their case
  • Review repair histories and understand how impacts merits of case
  • Work closely with the Post Settlement Specialist, Case Specialist, Attorneys, and Paralegals to help answer concerns and questions including non-standard case matters
  • Maintain data accuracy
  • Calculate Buy backs
  • Collect and interpret required financial documents
  • Present settlements and Settlement Agreements
  • Provide translations to attorneys if applicable
  • Respond and reach out to clients using all methods of communication supported by the firm (email, phone, and SMS/text message)
  • Work with management to identify gaps and suggest new processes and/or refine existing processes while performing other position related tasks as needed and directed by management
  • Prioritize workload based on business objectives, established goals and best practices
  • Facilitate the pre-lit process and demand letters.

Qualifications:

  • Communication and people skills
  • Ability to participate as a productive member of the team
  • Good computer knowledge and skills
  • Proficient typing ability while handling phone calls and speaking to potential clients
  • Excellent telephone communication skills, including the ability to articulate professional responses, strong listening skills, de-escalation of problem calls, all while maintaining professional phone etiquette
  • 2-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience in a prior customer facing role
  • Must have the ability to be empathetic, persuasive with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Must be an Independent and critical thinker, eager to identify and find creative solutions to client or business issues
  • Team-oriented with ability to work well with others in a collaborative, professional work environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office platform and applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to handle and maintain multiple client relationships at once, and to understand where they stand in the lifecycle of a case
  • Bi or multi-lingual is a must (Spanish)

Pay: $68,640 annually + monthly bonuses
