Job Summary We are seeking a detail-driven and experienced ServiceNow Test Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts across the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams, program leaders, and business stakeholders to develop and execute robust manual and automated testing strategies. Your expertise will ensure scalable, high-quality implementations of ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including functional, regression, integration, performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts in alignment with business requirements and ServiceNow best practices.
- Lead the end-to-end testing process, including defect tracking, triage, and resolution.
- Utilize ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and additional test tools to drive efficiency and automation.
- Facilitate UAT sessions with business stakeholders; gather and translate feedback into actionable improvements.
- Monitor and report on test progress, metrics, risks, and quality status to project leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and ServiceNow governance practices.
- Stay up to date with ServiceNow platform updates and continuously improve testing capabilities.
- Provide mentorship to team members and end-users on testing best practices and ATF usage.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor†s degree in a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Alternate combinations accepted: Master†s + 4 years, Ph.D. + 1 year, or 10 years of direct experience.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform functionality.
- Hands-on experience with ATF and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, qTest, TestRail).
- Experience designing and executing functional, regression, and integration test cases.
- Proficient in API testing (REST, SOAP).
- Familiarity with development methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Kanban.
- Skilled in coordinating and executing UAT, including stakeholder communication and training.
Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow certifications: CSA, Implementation Specialist, or Application Developer. Experience with ServiceNow†s Test Management module. ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester (CAT) certification. Experience working in cloud or managed services (MSP) environments. Knowledge of Salesforce, ITSM, or ITIL frameworks (v3 or v4 certification preferred). Familiarity with load/performance testing tools.
