The ServiceNow Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the work through sprints and leads the stewardship of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. The successful candidate will help oversee the cohesion of multiple technology/service modules and serve as the guiding light for the ServiceNow platform. This candidate must be able to balance priorities, negotiate deliverable expectations, ensure the teams are on target to deliver functionality according to agreed-upon milestones, and maintains an ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders.

Please note, this role offers a flexible work arrangement, but the candidate should be local to the Washington DC metro area.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years hands on experience managing a ServiceNow Agile development team having direct responsibility for the day to day management of the team ensuring project milestones are delivered on time and within budget.
  • 3 years of experience in Agile Methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
  • 5 years of experience working with clients in a consultative manner to solve business problems using technology and data-driven techniques.
  • 5 years of experience in ServiceNow platform development in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong domain expertise in ServiceNow platform applications: Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Hardware and Software Asset Management, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Security Operations (SecOps) and Performance Analytics.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Understand, support portfolio work, facilitate training, and drive adoption in the ServiceNow product stack and capability map.
  • Manage the flow of work alongside the Project Owner and key stakeholders to make sure that there are enough features ready in the backlog at all times.
  • Define an easy to understand, big picture, and product-based roadmap.
  • Develop progress reporting for executive leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain and communicate the product roadmap and vision to the team.
  • Manage expectations throughout the ServiceNow platform development lifecycle, module rationalization, and maintaining appropriate business engagement in requirements gathering, writing user stories, and helping to deliver according to the business strategy.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and the operationalization of the ServiceNow platform; ensure solution is compliant with best practices, enterprise standards, business processes, business and functional requirement.
  • Identify and communicate management and technical risks and develop mitigations strategies.
  • Partner closely with the ServiceNow Solution Architect(s) to identify and document technical requirements and emerging solutions.
  • Understand the product design and deployment to provide necessary guidance and support on the configuration and setup of ServiceNow solutions, environment and other non-functional areas.
  • Act as primary escalation point for all ServiceNow issues and problems.
  • Understand business requirements and define scope, prepare the project plan along with estimations of resource planning.
  • Coach and motivate Scrum team members, promote continuous communication, and act as the glue that holds the team together.
  • Fully engage with the Scrum team to identify strategies and tactics to increase velocity and report on Agile metrics.
  • Ensure quality of formal test plans for technology solutions based on business requirements.

Other Information
  • The salary for this position is $110,000 - $180,000 annually
  • This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs
