Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow SPM modules to drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow SPM Implementation:
- Implement, configure, and customize ServiceNow SPM modules, including Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Demand Management, Resource Management, and IT Business Management (ITBM).
- Assist with the integration of ServiceNow SPM with other enterprise systems (ERP, HR, Finance, etc.).
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into solutions that drive business value.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure that ServiceNow SPM modules are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Configuration & Customization:
- Customize SPM workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Manage the configuration of project management processes, including intake, execution, and delivery of projects.
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM):
- Oversee the portfolio of projects, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Help prioritize projects in alignment with business goals and resources.
- Demand & Resource Management:
- Support the intake process to capture and assess business demands, aligning them with strategic objectives.
- Assist in managing resource planning and allocation across multiple projects and programs.
- Reporting & Dashboards:
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into project performance, resource utilization, and portfolio health.
- Leverage ServiceNow's reporting tools to ensure stakeholders have accurate, real-time information to make informed decisions.
- Training and Support:
- Train end-users on ServiceNow SPM functionalities and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SPM-related issues and challenges.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the ServiceNow platform and overall portfolio management processes.
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure that ServiceNow SPM is used to maintain compliance with relevant internal and external regulations.
- Define and enforce governance standards for project intake, execution, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience with ServiceNow: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM/ITBM modules such as PPM, Demand Management, Resource Management, and Financial Management.
- Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and the ability to implement these methodologies in ServiceNow.
- Business Acumen: Ability to align portfolio management with strategic business objectives.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations, and configuration best practices.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and create clear documentation and reports.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in PPM or ITBM is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Previous experience in portfolio management or enterprise architecture roles.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow's Agile Development and ITIL best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA and integration with ServiceNow.
