About the opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Practitioner to support IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to improve IT service delivery and operations. This role requires expertise in automation, workflow configuration, and integration with enterprise systems.
Note: This position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background clearance in order to operate within the target environment.
What you'll get to do - Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM and ITSM modules to meet business and IT objectives.
- Implement and enhance ITIL-based workflows to streamline service delivery, improve efficiency, and ensure best practices.
- Develop automation and integration solutions using ServiceNow capabilities such as Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and API integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Support ITOM initiatives such as Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, and Service Mapping to improve asset visibility and service monitoring.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Ensure platform stability and security by following governance policies, ITSM best practices, and ServiceNow upgrade processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform, including integrations with external systems.
- Provide documentation and training on newly developed functionalities, ensuring smooth adoption by end-users and IT teams.
Skills and Experience we value - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Required)
- Ability to obtain or currently possess Canadian Protected B security clearance is mandatory (Due to Federal requirements - only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered)
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with a strong focus on ITOM and ITSM.
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and their application within ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
- Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), UI policies, business rules, and workflow automation.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise tools via REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be eligible for and able to pass a background clearance in order to operate within the target environment.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM) (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM (CIS-ITOM) (Highly Preferred)
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (Preferred).
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as government, healthcare, or finance (Preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise IT / Cloud Hosted architectures.
