Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled
ServiceNow Technical Consultant with Full Scope Poly clearance to join our team in Herndon/Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Discovery, and Hardware Asset Management (HAM). This role requires hands-on experience with configuring, deploying, and administering the ServiceNow platform in a secure, self-hosted environment. The candidate must also hold an FS Polygraph clearance and ServiceNow Certified Administrator certification
Key Responsibilities- Configure and deploy ServiceNow capabilities including ITSM, SAM, Discovery, and HAM
- Administer network security and infrastructure within ServiceNow
- Configure and deploy ServiceNow features such as management dashboards, reports, service portals, widgets, SLAs, and UI/UX development
- Work with ServiceNow custom applications, integrations, and configure workflows, reports, scripts, forms, views, and notifications
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems using SOAP and REST APIs
- Develop automated bi-directional integrations between multiple systems
- Implement data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC, and support data management activities like data importing and modeling
- Administer permissions using SSO, PKI authentication, and access control lists (ACLs)
- Support software version control and release management tools
- Use Agile methodologies for delivery management
- Provide clear and concise explanations of complex technical topics to non-technical audience
Job Skills/Experience - 3+ solid years of ServiceNow experience with (in order of preference):
- ITSM
- ITAM
- CMDB
- ITOM
- CSM
- SECOPS
- UI (Portal Development)
- MID Server implementation/maintenance
- Strong JavaScripting
- AJAX and other async techniques
- REST/API protocols
- Data skills including modelling, migrations, merges, and conversions
- O365, Azure, and AWS familiarity
- Experience with Self-hosting is a plus
Qualifications- FS Polygraph Clearance is required
- ServiceNow Certified Administrator certification required
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, SAM, Discovery, and HAM
- Experience with ServiceNow platform administration and custom applications
- Hands-on experience with configuring dashboards, reports, service portals, and UI/UX elements in ServiceNow
- Demonstrated experience in working with LDAP for SSO integration
- Experience in bi-directional system integrations and web services (SOAP/REST)
- Experience with data extraction tools (JDBC/ODBC) and data management (importing/modeling)
- Proficient in Agile delivery management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
