Location: Minneapolis, MN

Salary: $94,058/year

Position Requirements:
  • The position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
  • The qualified candidate must have at least 1 year (12 months) of experience in a software development position or closely related occupation.
  • The qualified candidate must also have at least 1 year (12 months) of experience with all of the following: (a) designing, developing, and performing systems integration and process automation in ServiceNow platform; (b) creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production; (c) creating workflows for incident management, change management, and service requests; (d) configuring ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping and Orchestration; (e) building out catalog items for ServiceNow platform; (f) designing, developing and implementing ITSM (Information Technology Systems Management) practices and methodologies; and (g) utilizing the following tools and technologies: ServiceNow, Javascript, Angular, REST APIs, CSS, and HTML.
  • All experience may be gained concurrently.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining / improving enterprise service management solutions in ServiceNow. Specific duties include:
  • Configuring and improving core and custom software applications and develop systems integrations and process automation for the ServiceNow platform;
  • Providing general technical support as a subject matter expert (SME) for the ServiceNow platform and associated applications, building catalog items for ServiceNow platform, resolving support issues within ServiceNow as needed, and providing assistance to the ServiceNow Administrator Lead to coordinate application and platform upgrades;
  • Building an understanding of Service Management service level agreements/key performance indicators, and working to ensure they are minimally affected by software changes in the ServiceNow platform;
  • Providing software configuration, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, and integration;
  • Developing and deploying ITSM (Information Technology System Management) methodologies / procedures to guide adoption processes, and ensuring methodologies/processes are standardized and utilized for all forms of ITSM;
  • Interpreting business requirements for system enhancements, software enhancements and projects, testing, analyzing, and translating requirements into detailed design systems including process and data flows, screen, and report specifications;
  • Guiding Service Management best practices and documentation for software changes, communicating process changes enhancements and modifications; and
  • Utilizing the following tools and technologies: ServiceNow, Javascript, Angular, REST APIs, CSS, and HTML. Position allows work from home anywhere in the United States. Headquarters located at 500 Stinson Blvd NE., Minneapolis, MN 55413.
