Software Engineers ServiceNow Developer Support ServiceNow Module teams with Software Engineering needs/request. These requests are mostly enhancements to the ServiceNow modules. The current supported modules include: Case (CSM) Change GRC Incident Interaction Problem Request Service Catalog Service Portal / Customer Email Notification ServiceNow Reporting and Analytics Service Operation Workspace Software engineering needs include but is not limited to: Requirement analysis and clarification Technical design and architecture Building solutions (code scripts, build tables, build business rules, etc ) Testing Promoting to environments (dev, test, and prod) Debugging RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in Agile project methodology. PI/Epic planning/prioritizing meetings Biweekly sprint planning meetings Daily Standups Story Ownership Communicates with SN Team lead to clarify requirements and communicate status. Take ownership of a story and work it from requirement to completed product in production. Share technical knowledge with the team. Communicate status with Business Partner (BP) (ServiceNow Module Team Lead) Refine requirement understanding with BP. Communicate risk with team. Assist/review other team members code. Present walkthroughs of solutions. Manage Git story status on Team board. Create SN update sets Create Promotion request to push update sets through the environments to production. Debug issues Test solutions. Analyze complex technical problems and formulation solutions. Assist the team lead in updating the run book and other technical and process documents for benefit of the entire team. EXPERIENCE & SKILL 3-4 Years of University education post High school (B.Sc. or BCA or Diploma) in Software Engineering 1-2 Years of working experience in Information Technology Proficient in the following technologies: JavaScript HTML CSS Bootstrap GitLab Issue management is a plus ServiceNow Portal page development Widgets Rest Integrations Platform pages - Jelly code for Platform UI Script Includes (JavaScript) Client Scripts (JavaScript) Notifications Flow Designer Reports Dashboards Tables Update Sets Business rules Agile Methodology education and experience of 1-2 years (1.) To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders (2.) To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction thorugh active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced (3.) To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning (4.) To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required. (5.) To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
