ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certificationKey Responsibilities: - Design and implement the ServiceNow CSDM framework to align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Configure and customize the CMDB to accurately represent the configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the IT environment.
- Develop and maintain data governance processes to ensure the integrity and quality of CSDM and CMDB data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to understand data requirements and map them to the CSDM and CMDB.
- Define and implement CI classes, attributes, and relationships in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of the CSDM and CMDB to identify and remediate data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Provide guidance and training to IT staff on CSDM and CMDB concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Work closely with ServiceNow administrators and developers to integrate the CSDM and CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and applications.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and new features and recommend enhancements to optimize the CSDM and CMDB.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve IT service delivery and support organizational objectives.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Service Mapping or Asset Management preferred.
- 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB solutions.
- Integrate the CSDM and CMDB with third-party tools and systems such as network monitoring tools, asset management systems, and cloud platforms to ensure a comprehensive and unified view of the IT landscape.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration, including workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, ITIL certification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with data modelling, schema design, and relational databases is desirable.
- Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies are advantageous
