Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst / Process Engineer
Location: Springfield, VA - 4-5 days / week onsite
Type: Long-term / multi-year contract Requirements:
• Top Secret Clearance, can sponsor SCI
• 5+ years of experience in IT process engineering, business analysis, or a related role, with a strong focus on ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integration.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and how they align with ServiceNow functionalities.
• Understanding of ServiceNow roles, workflows, and process automation.
• Experience with creating process diagrams (Visio)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Experience supporting a mix of the following modules:
o ITSM
o ITOM
o ITAM
o GRC
o SPM
o SecOps
o HRSD Key Responsibilities:
Process Mapping & Improvement:
• Analyze and document current IT processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement within ServiceNow and across other IT platforms.
• Design, implement, and document improved workflows, service requests, and incident management processes.
• Work with business stakeholders to define process requirements and align them with IT solutions for better operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document workflows, automation, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Ensure ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM) are effectively tailored to support business processes. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow integrations, enhancements, and process changes.
• Perform gap analysis to ensure business needs are met by existing systems and processes.
• Develop user stories, process maps, and business requirements documentation. Collaboration and Other Duties
• Work closely with ServiceNow developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Assist with functional testing Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in IT process engineering, business analysis, or a related role, with a strong focus on ServiceNow. Technical Skills:
• Experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integration.
