Position Overview:
As a Service Technician at ECC, you will be the cornerstone of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of technology performance. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of systems at customer facilities, including access control, audio/visual systems, fire alarms, nurse call systems, sound systems, and video surveillance. Acting as the front-line support for our business, you'll ensure the reliability, safety, and functionality of critical technology solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues through research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Perform system inspections and provide detailed reports on functionality and performance.
- Recommend and conduct preventative maintenance to optimize system efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
- Address escalated customer concerns, ensuring situations are handled professionally and tactfully.
- Conduct on-site client training to ensure proper system usage and satisfaction.
- Set up networking and provide remote support when necessary.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and customer needs.

Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electronics preferred.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Flexibility to work weekends and after-hours when required.
- End-user training experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work in elevated environments.
- Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Operate power tools and aerial lifts safely.
- Work in environments with hazards, such as moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or electrical currents.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience.
- Nebraska State Fire Alarm Inspector License (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
