POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide for the company the installation and removal of commercial and domestic washer and dryers as well as maintains a customer base by providing excellent customer service. To respond to service calls as promptly as possible; and strive for "no later than next day service. Perform necessary service in a quality manner promptly and efficiently. Visually inspect machines and correct any deficiencies.

Core Responsibilities :

Review all service tickets for routes assigned.

Ensure all parts and equipment are loaded and accounted for.

Make sure there is enough petty cash to cover all refunds and unanticipated developments.

Be sure that a copy of the work completed on the machine is placed in the receipt box, or routed to the branch manager.

Parts lists are to be completed every evening.

Turn in all used parts to the parts department for replacement.

All service keys and lock books are to be deposited in shop lockers when not in use and will not be left in vehicles or taken home (unless in a remote area).

All service tickets are to be completed in a timely manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A valid driving record is required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Graduation from high school/GED is required.

At least one year of field experience in the laundry business is preferred.

Previous electrical, mechanical experience is preferred.

Some computer experience including the use of e-mail, spreadsheets, and the use of the internet.

Familiarity with "Illustrated Parts Lookup" software package .

  • Make service calls to customers and provide with expert installation and repair service to a variety of propane equipment
  • Perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs
  • Deliver customer cars to service stalls

  • Upgrading customers to service agreements
  • Adhere to contractual service agreements per sales and customer service directives
  • Providing knowledgeable and courteous repair service
  • Maintaining high-quality customer service and care
