Summary

The Service Sales Manager is accountable for selling maintenance contracts and associated services throughout North America; utilizing standard and customized service plans and products; administrating the GDCTAI portfolio of contracts which has an aggregate value in excess of $60 million annual revenue and to include direct and indirect customer negotiations, service plan / product pricing, and other associated administrative functions.

Service Contract Sales
  • Develop and price standard and custom service plan offerings and related maintenance services products.
  • Sell service contracts throughout North America by direct sales interaction with external Customers and indirectly through GDCTAI Account Managers and Third-Party Business Partners.
  • Represent GDCTAI in both direct and indirect contract negotiations, including multi-year and multi-million dollar value.
Service Contract Portfolio Administration
  • Administrate service contract renewals.
  • Sell, negotiate, and administrate contract modifications.
  • Manage billing schedules, payment terms, and payment reconciliations.
  • Provide on-going customer support and dispute resolution.
  • Generate various business and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ad hoc customized quotations for services and products.
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Excellent negotiations skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Proficient with business and legal contract terms.
  • Able to knowledgeably discuss with legal counsel, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of internal control standards/principals.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of business processes and be able to communicate details to all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to work independently or in a Team to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally and confidently with Executive Management, G+D Directors, G+D Shareholders, Regulators and Investigators.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (ex. Excel, Word) and Adobe Pro.
  • Proficient with Salesforce and SAP.
Travel Required
  • Requires occasional domestic and international travel to Customer locations, trade shows, G+D headquarters in Munich, Germany.
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and 5+ years experience, or 7+ years demonstrated experience in a Service Sales role.
