Job Title: Service Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead a team of in-house Sales Representatives and Field Service Personnel across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and will be responsible for accurate scheduling of service jobs to meet deadlines, managing direct contact with customers, and fostering relationships with both existing and potential new clients. This role requires attending weekly production meetings, providing on-site support for installations, and interacting with various departments to enhance procedures and promote employee training.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 14 field service representatives and sales personnel across multiple states.
- Schedule service jobs accurately to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain effective communication with customers before, during, and after sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and build relationships with potential new customers.
- Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings.
- Provide on-site support for the start-up of installations as required.
- Provide customer support as needed.
- Interact and communicate with various departments.
- Staff the department according to present and future needs.
- Implement, maintain, and improve procedures.
- Promote employee training for quality and productivity improvement.
Essential Skills
- Proven customer service experience.
- Strong managerial and supervisory skills.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Excellent customer support skills.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in the Forest Products Industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with biomass energy systems and lumber dry kiln systems.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and work outside routine hours as required.
- Supportive and encouraging personality.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
