About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Manager to join our team in the marine industry. This fully onsite role requires strong communication and organizational skills to manage customer service needs and coordinate repairs efficiently with our technicians.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their service and repair needs.
- Assess repair requests and effectively communicate job details to the technicians.
- Ensure service work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized records of service orders and customer interactions.
- Monitor work progress and provide updates to customers as needed.
- Assist in managing parts inventory and ordering necessary supplies.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a service management, customer service, or related role within the marine or automotive industry.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic knowledge of marine engines, systems, and repair processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computers and service management software is preferred.
