Position Overview
As our Service Manager, you will:
- Provide advanced technical support to journeymen and customers in the electrical/security field
- Oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and on schedule
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, while identifying opportunities to expand our service offerings
Key Responsibilities
- Service Coordination: Field all incoming service requests; prepare and present accurate quotes
- Work Order Management: Create, schedule, and track work orders using our service management software
- Contract Oversight: Manage yearly and quarterly service, testing, and inspection contracts; track deficiencies and follow up to resolution
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor technicians; monitor daily progress and ensure completion of all required paperwork
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality-control checks on ongoing and completed work to uphold company standards
- Customer Relations: Act as primary point-of-contact for service clients; address concerns promptly and professionally
Ideal Qualifications
- Journeyman certification or equivalent experience in the electrical field
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a drive to grow existing accounts
