Severn Lamb & Trams International arelooking for a Service Lead to take ownership of our global after sales and service support function. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of customer support, logistics, warehouse operations, documentation, and spares procurement for our world-class transport systems.
This is a varied and rewarding role ideal for someone with strong technical skills, real-world engineering experience, and a proactive mindset. You'll be the primary point of contact for global clients requiring service support for our road and rail visitor transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead first-line product support and coordinate service engineer visits
- Oversee warranty claims, repairs, maintenance, and spare part orders
- Develop detailed service documentation, operation & maintenance manuals, and spare parts lists
- Create and manage digital spares catalogues and repair operation times
- Oversee stock, shipping, and global delivery logistics
- Procure components and services while supporting wider project teams
What We're Looking For:
- Strong hands-on engineering background - with real-world, practical experience
- High degree of computer literacy - confident working across digital systems, portals, and documentation tools
- Experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain coordination
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude
- Flexibility to travel internationally when required
- Full UK driving licence
