Job Title: Service Engineer 5
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $65/hr. - $70/hr.
Duration: 6 - 18 Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer 5 to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of large-scale systems and processes. This role requires a highly skilled professional with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of service and process design methodologies, as well as hands-on experience in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required

• Minimum 10 years of experience in computer science, with strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale systems process design and development.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in troubleshooting and unit testing for both new and legacy production systems.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, including mainframe and client/server applications.

• Enhance and fine-tune sophisticated service and process design projects.

• Lead design thinking sessions to drive innovation and improvements.

• Implement and manage Continuous Improvement methods.

• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop process-focused solutions to meet business needs.

• Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications.

• Implement system software and customize solutions based on client requirements.

• Prepare process specifications and test flow plans.

• Modify existing programs to align with new standards and conduct unit testing.

• Assist with quality assurance definitions and post-implementation validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Service and Process Design methodologies.

• Familiarity with leading Design Thinking sessions.

• Strong process and end-user documentation and diagramming skills.

• Hands-on experience with Continuous Improvement implementation.

• Certifications or experience in one or more of the following methodologies:
o Rummler-Brache
o CMMI
o Lean/Agile
o Lean/Six Sigma
o Scaled Agile (SAFe)
o ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP (Business Analysis Certifications)
o AAC (Agile Analysis Certification)
