ServiceDesk SpecialistSummary:We are looking for a tech-savvy help desk technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. As a help desk technician, you are responsible for responding to email, chat, or phone queries and offering technical support to customers using computer systems, hardware, and software.
Job Duties: Primary Duties:
- Help Desk Specialist will manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
- Help Desk Specialist will respond to customer issues via phone, email, and computer chat
- Service Desk Specialist will provide customer assistance
- Service Desk Specialist will document customer interactions
- Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
- Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
- Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
- Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
- Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to deliver results with often ambiguous instructions
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
Requirements:Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma Required
- AA in Computer Science is a plus
- MBO Degree, preferably in ICT
- Knowledge of ITIL/ISM processes
Essential Skills:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple step instructions
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to pay attention to surroundings
- Basic math skills
- Positive Attitude
