Title: Hardware Coordinator for Service Desk team
Location: Farmington Hills, MI - 5 days a week, Monday
Duration: 3-month contract with a possibility of extension or even possible conversion at some point

Job Description :
Top 3 Must Have Tech Skills:
1. Familiarity with IT hardware
2. Comfort ability with data entry into ticketing systems
3. Basic understanding of Windows Server family, Microsoft 365, and current Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
EXCELLENT ATTENTION TO DETAIL & MULTITASKING SKILLS
Nice to have:
1. Service desk experience

While I think this contractor would not have to be highly technical, we do need someone very motivated, organized, and able to learn quickly with the ability to work independently after being trained.
Good opportunity for someone looking to move up into a Service Desk position
1. Hardware Check Ins - when we receive new hardware or returned HW from an off boarding, the HW would need to be unboxed, readied for imaging, and entered into our Fresh service asset management
2. Shipping - boxing up and shipping out HW to users
3. Imaging - imaging laptops and confirming readiness before handing off to users
4. Calls to Dell/HP - Contacting vendors to open requests for support on more in depth issues
5. Organization, attention to detail, multitasking - this is a big requirement as they may have a full plate of tasks for quite a while and responsibilities could grow as they clean up the HW space
6. Maybe answer phones/emails to create tickets - this is a possibility if the HW space gets in a good rhythm, they could potentially become a 1st level agent to help with ticket creation
