The Service Desk Analyst, reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, plays a key role in the administration, support, and maintenance of end-user systems. This role is also responsible for managing service ticket queues and overseeing security group memberships and permissions across various platforms.

This is a hybrid position based at Magnolia Headquarters, requiring on-site presence 3-4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

End User Support
  • Take calls to our IT Support line and action them by resolving the issue, escalating to other team members, or working with appropriate vendor to resolve the problem.
  • Ensure accurate follow-up on support requests, with a focus on user satisfaction and timely resolution.
  • Follow established procedures for granting access to Magnolia's local or hosted systems.
  • Make deskside visits if appropriate to resolve user issues.
  • Setup and deploy laptops, phones, and peripherals for new employees, and provide onboarding support - including an overview of essential systems and tools.
  • Package applications for deployment.
  • Support Audio/Visual needs as necessary.
  • Maintain software and hardware inventories. Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • Manage and prioritize tickets within our internal ticketing system.
  • Manage mobile devices (IOS, Android) and cellular plans.
  • Aligns, adheres, and applies established IT policies and procedures to all work performed.
On-Call and Travel Responsibilities:
  • This role may involve occasional after-hours support for user inquiries, system issues, and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Light travel, approximately once per month, may be required to support operations across Magnolia's Central Texas locations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, Required.
  • 2+ Years in End User Support in a networked environment, required.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Active Directory Administration, required.
  • Clear Verbal and Written Communication skills, required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating system, required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, required.
  • Entry Level PowerShell and scripting experience, preferred.
  • Experience with call tracking software (JIRA, Zendesk, etc.), preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • CompTIA A+ certification, preferred.
