We are seeking a proactive and organized Service Coordinator to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating service activities, communicating with clients and technicians, and ensuring timely completion of work orders. This role is vital in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the efficiency of our engineering service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch field engineers and technicians for service calls, preventive maintenance, and installations.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the technical team for service-related inquiries.
- Monitor service request status, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, service reports, and equipment details in the company's system.
- Assist in preparing service quotes, contracts, and follow-up reports.
- Coordinate with other departments (engineering, procurement, logistics) to ensure resources are available for service execution.
- Track inventory and order parts required for service tasks.
- Support billing by verifying completed service jobs and preparing necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a service coordination or administrative role, preferably in an engineering or technical services environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of engineering services, equipment, or industrial systems is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- 2+ years in a customer service or service coordination role, preferably in an engineering or technical company.
