Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Welcome customers. 2. Charge in a kind, patient and timely manner. Being efficient without losing the focus on customer service. 3. Pay attention to detail in cash handling and ensuring that the paper bills are not fake. 4. Keep the work area clean, organized and free from safety hazards. 5. Leave the cash register ready for the next shift. 6. Report faulty equipment and hazards to management. 7. PERFORM ANY OTHER TASK ASSIGNED BY THE STORE MANAGER. Knowledge, Abilities, Skills and Other Personal Characteristics: 1.Customer service oriented. 2. Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). 3. Monetary Knowledge: capacity to make change and give receipts. 4. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Knowledge about the variety of products from the store and their location. 6. Attention to detail. 7. Patience and courtesy. 8. Honesty. 9. Ability to resolve conflicts with customers in a friendly way. 10.Ability to work under pressure. 11.Ability to communicate with customers. 12.Excellent personal presentation. Minimum Requirements: 1. Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). 2. Monetary knowledge: capacity to make change and give receipts. 3. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Desirable Requirements: 1. Graduation from high school or GED. 2. Read and speak Spanish and English fluently. Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to stand for long periods of time. 2. Ability to flex, kneel, bend and stoop.
