Service Advisors
Don Davis Nissan of Arlington is seeking to recruit skilled and enthusiastic Service Advisors to join our rapidly expanding Service Center. The Service Advisor is the frontline of the Service Department who assists customers with understanding their vehicle's maintenance and repair options and provide an estimate of cost before they are scheduled with the Technician.

Work functions include but not limited to:
- Prepares and advises on service requirements, sells routine maintenance, repair services, and follow-up regarding unsold services and customers.
- Effectively informs customers on service recommendations for routine maintenance. The Service Advisor assists in identifying mechanical problems by interviewing the customer and/or doing a visual inspection or road test.
- Prepares a repair order indicating the time and labor requirements for recommended service. The Service Advisor maintains contact with the technicians to ensure the work is completed promptly.
- Schedules appointments, responds to phone calls, and receives funds for services. The Service Advisor is responsible for the coordination of alternative transportation, rental car reservations, and shuttle services.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail while assisting and consulting with customers and establishes a scheduled time. If necessary, the Service Advisor will contact the dispatcher.
Employee Prerequisites:
- Onboarding process completed within days of applying.
- Stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time without resting. (Up to 5 hours)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Capability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers.
