Superior Ford is looking for highly motivated service advisor to join our team. Ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, great problem solver and capable in retail sales. Also requires the ability to multitask, with an eye for detail in a fast paced environment. Need to be efficient using a computer/tablet. Basic automotive knowledge is expected for this position. Previous automotive dealership service department experience required.

Automotive Service Advisor responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in person in a timely manner.
  • Answer incoming service phone calls.
  • Answer incoming service text messages.
  • Answer incoming online service leads.
  • Schedule service appointments.
  • Write up service repair orders as requested by the customer, accurately and efficiently. Using proper write up techniques.
  • Sign out and check in dealer owned rental cars.
  • Understand and adhere to Ford Motor Company's warranty and policy in defining warranty coverage and proper warranty submission.
  • Recommend additional maintenance and service needs, based on vehicle mileage and inspection results.
  • Monitor progress of work orders generated. Ensure services are completed correctly, within promised times and on budget.
  • Communicate with customers and keep them up to date on price estimates, completion times and repair status.
  • Booking and Billing of repair orders after service is completed ensuring accurate and complete information is on the invoice.
  • Submitting fleet and manufacture billing for routine maintenance.
  • Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations and providing excellent service.
Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two or more year's proven experience as a Service Advisor or equivalent in a new car dealership setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven track record in retail sales.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality. Your best ability is your availability.
  • Knowledge of the CDK dealer management system a plus.
  • Positive hard-working attitude in a team setting.
