Service Advisor

The service department is looking to add an additional service advisor. The successful candidate will be a part of providing a quality customer service experience while helping the company manage a high volume of service calls and visits to the dealership due to the growth of our service market area. Al Willeford Chevrolet is a family friendly dealership that cares about its employees work life balance paired with our high growth market area we have both a great place to work and a large volume of service work. This role is critical to the dealership because the entire technician staff relies on this position to bring work into the service department and the growth in the area due to all the new industry and residential increase has created a need for additional service personnel. Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for greeting service customers that walk in and come by appointment as well as taking a high volume of phone calls. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional customer service experience and requesting satisfied survey responses. In this role you will be selling General Motors recommended services, estimating repairs for existing mechanical issues and presenting recommended maintenance intervals. Selling the value of servicing with a factory authorized General Motors service department is an important part of this position. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role will have 1-3 years of service writing experience in a high paced service lane. The ideal candidate will have previous General Motors experience and possess outstanding communication skills with the ability to both listen to the customers needs and present repair estimates . We are looking for a self motivated individual because of the volume of incoming work that is available due to the growth in our service area. An individual who is organized and has a professional demeanor is most successful in this role because of the high paced nature of the position
