Service Advisor

Job Summary:
The Service Advisor at Lugoff Chevy Buick GMC is a full-time, individual contributor role in the automotive industry. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional customer service and support for vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role will play a crucial role in nurturing customer relationships, increasing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue for the dealership. This position offers a base salary of $45,000 - $75,000 per year, with the potential for additional commission based on performance. The successful candidate will work out of our location in Lugoff, South Carolina.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance
- Discuss vehicle maintenance and repair needs with customers
- Provide accurate estimates and timelines for services
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers
- Communicate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of services
- Review and explain service recommendations and quotes to customers
- Educate customers on proper vehicle maintenance and care
- Keep accurate and detailed records of services and customer interactions
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Continuously strive to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- May assist with other duties as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or the automotive industry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of vehicles and automotive services
- Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
