JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Service Advisor

Location: Store Operations

Reports To: General Manager, Car Wash Manager, and Car Wash Assistant Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly - Non Exempt with Bonus Program

Revision Date: 6/18/2019

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete Car Spa's Service Advisor Certification Program.
• Follow the 7-step model (observe the vehicle, greet the customer, relate observation, make a recommendation, pause, respond to acceptance or rejection, send off the customer) to achieve customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Process customer transactions (all types of tender) at the entrance to tunnel.
• Operate Point-of-Sale System and Tunnel Control System (as applicable to location).
• Remove or prepare vehicle accessory items that may be jeopardized in the car wash tunnel.
• Answer questions that customers may have about all services offered by Car Spa.
• Cross-trained to perform all vehicle services, including car wash and express detail services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• All work is done outdoors in all types of weather.
• Safety is a prime concern due to the constant traffic movement. You must be alert and move safely around moving vehicles.
• You are required to enter and/or reach all areas of any type vehicle. You must constantly bend, reach, stoop and stretch. You must be able to step up into and down out of vehicles.

Qualifications:

Mandatory

• Customer service experience
• Strong communication skills

Preferred

• Sales experience
• Car wash experience
• Automotive service experience
