Diehl Automotive is growing and expanding. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor at our Kia Hermitage location. Customer service, data entry, writing estimates, and working as a team with the technicians and other advisors will be primary the responsibilities. Prior experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
As a Service Advisor you will: - Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Obtain accurate information regarding the customers vehicle, documenting any and all concerns to the repair order
- Advise customers on the maintenance intervals according manufactures specifications
- Provide customers with a complete and accurate estimate for labor and parts
- Provide customers with a detailed breakdown of all charges for the services performed to their vehicle
- Obtain prior authorization from the customer or warranty company of repairs that need to be completed
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding customer concerns, appointments, and follow up with customers on work in progress
- Verify manufacturer and extended warranty coverage
