Service Advisor opportunity available in the Franklin, MA area at a reputable independent auto repair shop as a long-term Service Advisor recently relocated out of state. This is a modern facility and this person will be one of two service advisors, playing a key role in keeping customers informed and ensuring a great experience. The successful candidate is someone with strong customer service skills who knows how to upsell while maintaining integrity and building trust. Being great on the phone is key-you should have an upbeat voice, give customers confidence, and follow up to keep them in the loop. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a drive to succeed are a must. Responsibilities: - Greet customers warmly and create a positive first impression
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs and sell work appropriately
- Provide clear explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance, ensuring transparency and trust
- Upsell services and products while maintaining integrity and customer satisfaction
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process with timely updates and follow-ups
- Convert opportunities to sales
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate service estimates
- Maintain accurate records of service history, pricing, and customer interactions
- Handle phone inquiries with confidence, providing a professional and upbeat experience
- Work as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment
- Write up an average of 10 ROs per day
- Write up and close our ROs via R.O. Writer
- Strive for excellent customer service, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business
Compensation: - Compensation in the $95,000 - $115,000 range based on experience and performance.
