Grieco Ford of Ft. Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Service Advisor who is self-motivated with aspirations for success. You must maintain a positive attitude, and have a great work ethic. We invite all top performing people to apply their skills to help our company continue to grow.
Responsibilities Include: - Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
- Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
- Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, using maintenance menus.
- Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Test-drive the vehicle or refer to the test technician as necessary.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone or branch average.
- Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
- Maintains a dealership-prescribed standard for "hours per customer repair order written."
Qualifications: - Service Advisor: 3 years (Preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid driver's license.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others.
- CDK/ADP experience a plus
- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, and MVR.
