Service Advisor

NorthStar Ford is looking for a full-time Service Advisor to join their Service department. Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, a background in the automotive industry is preferred, but willing to train, and the ability to multi-task jobs while keeping customers informed on the status of their vehicles. Responsibilities:

Set appointments

Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner

Produce repair orders and estimates

Effectively communicate with technicians and parts departments

Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle

Set and achieve sales goals

Provide exceptional customer service

Answer phones and emails

Collect payments

Problem solve

Check customers out

Walk customer through repair and inspection of vehicles

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work in a team

Knowledge of vehicles preferred, but willing to train

Must have computer skills

Customer service experience

Must have a positive attitude

Must have strong communication skills

Must be detail-oriented

Ability to multi-task

Must have organizational skills

Must have a valid Driver's License
