Job Summary The RV Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and our service team. This role involves scheduling appointments, managing service orders, communicating with customers about their service needs, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. - Compensation: $25,000 / year base salary plus commission
Responsibilities - Greet customers promptly and courteously, listening to their concerns and service needs.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar.
- Prepare detailed service orders, including descriptions of problems, repairs, and parts needed.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their RVs throughout the service process.
- Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approval before performing any additional repairs.
- Review completed work with customers, explaining repairs and answering any questions.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly, escalating as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service transactions.
- Promote additional services and products that may benefit the customer.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in the RV or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of RV systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer systems and service software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications - Certification from the RVIA/RVDA or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with a variety of RV brands and models.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
