C. A. Russell Ford is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented
Service Advisor to join our service department team. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between our customers and technicians-providing a positive service experience from drop-off to pick-up.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Prior automotive service experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a professional and timely manner
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Prepare repair orders and coordinate work with service technicians
- Communicate updates to customers throughout the repair process
- Review service recommendations and estimates with transparency and integrity
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records in the dealership's service management system
- Help manage the flow of service drive traffic and appointments
Requirements: - Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role preferred
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
- Proficiency with dealership software (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc.) a plus
- Team player with a positive, customer-first attitude
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
