TOAST Temecula is seeking Servers who are passionate and excited about providing an exceptional guest experience. We pride ourselves on taking a fun and adventurous approach in the breakfast world by creating made-from-scratch dishes and offering local coffees & teas, craft beer and unique cocktails. - Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails, beer, wines, specialty coffees; suggesting courses; answering food preparation questions
- Communicates orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices, identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from bar and kitchen; delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs, observing guest process
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to other special needs
- Concludes guest experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant, inviting guests to return
- Protects restaurant and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed
- Perform additional tasks to support overall success of restaurant
SERVER REQUIREMENTS- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
- Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
- Must have at least 2 Years of Serving Experience in a sit-down restaurant
- Must be Customer Focused and Portray Customer Focused Attitude
- Must always display High Level of Respect while serving guests
- Always keeping a positive and upbeat attitude
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
- Must speak fluent English; Excellent verbal communication
- Works well and efficiently under pressure
- Flexibility and willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts
- Reliability and Punctuality is a must
- Takes pride in professional appearance
Activities include, but are not limited to, walking, or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting or carrying 25 or more pounds, carrying, talking, sitting, able to wipe down bar, tabletops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from floor; able to push vacuum or mop.
