Server Job Description Company: Texas Steakhouse & Saloon Location: Princeton, WV 24740 Job Summary The Server is responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests. They play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities - Greet guests and take their orders
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Ensure accuracy of orders and timely delivery of food and beverages
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications - Prior experience as a server in a restaurant setting preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Education High school diploma or equivalent
