The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking Server Assistants to work with our food and beverage team.

PRINCIPLERESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

To ensure that guests areseated at a clean, properly set table within the shortest amount of timepossible. To maintain cleanliness of thedining room, and bar area. To work withthe servers and bartenders to ensure guests receive excellent service. To keep all areas stocked in FOH for quickand efficient service.

MAIN DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure guests are seated at aclean, properly set table within the shortest amount of time.
  • Maintains the cleanliness ofRestaurant. This includes Dining Room,Bar, and Patios.
  • Maintains the cleanliness ofthe service station and notifies M.O.D of any problems.
  • Sets up service area, restocks,polishing silverware and glassware.
  • Checks chairs, banquettes, andtable bases for cleanliness.
  • Empties trash and sweeps floorareas
  • Resets tables when guestdepart the table.
  • Provides water and breadservice to new guests arriving.
  • Assists with coffee and teaservice if needed.
  • Refills beverage servicethroughout the dining experience.
  • Assists the server withclearing away dirty dishes and glassware.
  • Cleans and sanitizesthroughout the shift.
  • Prepares the shift change orclose.
  • Keeps the M.O.D informed ofany problems or unusual matters throughout the restaurant.
  • Performs all duties andresponsibilities in a timely manner in accordance with The Lodge's companypolicies.
  • Maintains a positive workingatmosphere.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,AND ABILITY

Requirements:
  • Maintainexpected level of personal appearance and hygiene consistent with The BoatClub's image for FOH employees working in full view of the guest. Neat clean and well groomed. Men should beneatly shaven and hair well-groomed and out of face. Women should have long hair pulled back and nails should be neatly trimmed and cleaned.
  • Dressedneatly and well-groomed in company approved uniforms at all times.
  • Liftsand carries heavy items multiple times throughout the shifts.
  • Frequentbending and stooping.
  • Attimes works in a hot and cold climate.
  • Exposedto hazards that may include broken glass, bottles, plates, burns, slips andfalls.
  • Walksand stands for a 6-8-hour shift.
  • Reaches,bends, stoops, wipes.
  • Canclearly communicate well with guests and co-workers.
  • Requiredto carry trays with food, drink, bus tubs, or supplies.
  • Mustbe able to perform multi tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and beable to maintain the high standard of The Boat Club.
The Server Assistant's schedule can be flexible with part and full time opportunities. Working evenings, weekends and holidays may be required. The Server Assistants will typically be available during peak seasons, typically taking PTO and vacations during slower seasons.
