Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server Assistant to join our front-of-house team. The Server Assistant will support servers and other staff to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, assisting with food delivery, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Assisting Servers: Support servers in delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clearing and Setting Tables: Clear dishes and reset tables quickly for incoming guests, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Guest Assistance: Help guests with their needs, including refilling water glasses, providing extra napkins or utensils, and ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that the dining area, service stations, and restrooms are clean and well-maintained throughout service hours.
- Supporting the Team: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service, and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensuring Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the proper handling of food and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Positive Attitude: Provide friendly, efficient service while contributing to a positive atmosphere within the restaurant.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (restaurant experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with ease.
- Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as lift up to 25 pounds.
