About The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Manager to lead our search engine optimization strategy and drive organic traffic growth across the various websites of our portfolio of brands.
Our ideal candidate for this role is an expert in SEO with hands on experience of SEO strategies and best practices in the era of AI search optimization and a proven track record of delivering measurable results. The candidate must be highly experienced on website migrations and redirect strategies, analytical, organized, and have experience managing several SEO projects at the same time without compromising excellence.
Work Location: Hybrid in office 3 days a week at 150 N Riverside Plaza, Chicago IL Responsibilities: - Develop and execute successful SEO strategies to increase the visibility and ranking of our websites across search engines leveraging AI search optimization strategies.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast SEO, Screamingfrog, Frase, and/or other emerging AI SEO tools.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development.
- Plan and execute off page SEO strategies including backlinking, competitor backlinking.
- Optimize website content for search engines and lead generation.
- Manage and improve organic search engine performance based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
- Prepare and present reports regularly on the progress of SEO efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Conduct website audits to identify technical, on page, off page issues/opportunities for current and future websites.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an SEO managerial role with a successful track record.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.
- Experience managing robust website migration and redirect projects.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs Yoast SEO, Frase, Clearscope, Screamingfrog, etc.
- Experience with AI tools such as: SEMrush's AI tool, Peec AI, Profound, etc.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficient in HTML/CSS and WordPress or other content management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or relevant field.
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000, with additional discretionary bonus opportunity. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
