About the Role
We're hiring a Content Manager to lead the production, quality, and delivery of SEO content across our client portfolio. You'll manage a team of freelance writers, review and edit every article, and work closely with our SEO Strategists to ensure everything we publish is aligned, impactful, and optimized.
You won't be uploading content yourself, but you'll oversee that process and review final implementation handled by our CMS assistant. You'll also use AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline editing, research, and ideation - especially as we work across a wide range of industries.
This is a hands-on, quality-first role for someone who takes pride in detail and knows what makes content rank and convert.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate a team of freelance writers
- Review, edit, and approve content before publishing
- Oversee CMS implementation and formatting (not execution)
- Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to speed up editing and research
- Research across multiple industries and synthesize quickly
- Collaborate with SEO Strategists on briefs, outlines, and content plans
- Ensure obsessive attention to detail across grammar, structure, and clarity
- Spot and correct SEO issues (headers, metadata, links, keyword usage)
- Enforce editorial standards and keep the pipeline running smoothly
- Communicate updates, revisions, and deadlines with the Account Manager
What We're Looking For

- Strong understanding of content SEO - and what actually drives results
- Obsessive attention to detail and editorial quality
- Comfortable managing writers, tracking deadlines, and owning delivery
- Confident using AI tools like ChatGPT for speed and consistency
- Able to research and write across diverse industries and tones
- Self-sufficient and proactive in a remote, async team
