Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 - Major Program Event (MPE) Integrator (MPEI) in support of the Sentinel weapon system program. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. This highly visible role will l support the Air Force's development, production and deployment of the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) ground and airborne launch control systems, launch facilities, launch control centers, and associated infrastructure. What You'll Get to Do: In this role, you will serve as a key integrator, working with a team of integrators and MPE Leads conducting weapon system design, architecture, and infrastructure development in support of the Sentinel weapon system. Each MPE Lead and Integrator will work together to strategically solve problems, overcome weapon system challenges, and seek ways to progress to weapon system employment. Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Broker cross-IPT MPE integration

• Adjudicate schedule pressures between IPTs

• Partner with MPE Leads and CAMs to ensure schedule execution to plan

• Drive horizontal integration of schedule logic and IMS integrity among the segments

• Monitor schedule control points, IMP execution, schedule forecast accuracy, and driving paths

• Support Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) activities to quantitatively characterize schedule execution risk

- Employee Discounts This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in a STEM related field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)with 6 years of related experience
• 1+ year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• 1 year experience identifying risk and opportunities to program schedule

• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
• Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• ICBM Experience (MMIII or Sentinel)

• Program management skills: EVM and/or CAM experience
• Very strong data analysis skills: MS Project, Excel, and familiarity with IMS critical path(s)

• Strong interpersonal skills: Cross-IPT collaboration experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years' experience leading projects or cross functional teams Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $177,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
