Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (T02 level) / Principal Systems Engineer (T03 level) for Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) . This position is located in Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, or Colorado Springs, CO, and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do: As a Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Systems Engineer, you will support a team modeling product support analyses across multiple campuses. This role will involve identifying critical system requirements, evaluating various solutions, and implementing process improvements. We are looking for a candidate with experience integrating various tools and managing large data. A successful candidate will be innovative and comfortable solving technical problems without appreciable guidance. Key Responsibilities: Support modeling, simulation, and analysis activities
Support Model Based Systems Engineering activities
Assist in integrating various analytical models and software tools
Assist in defining system requirements and finding innovative solutions to difficult technical problems
Evaluation of COTS/GOTS (Commercial/Government Off-The-Shelf) products that could meet system requirements
Provide technical support to database and software engineers

Demonstrated experience with large data management and streamlining data processes Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years experience with a Master of Science degree; 1 year experience with a PhD
3+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis
1+ years of experience in MBSE
Demonstrated experience with large data management and streamlining data processes Required for Both Levels: Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Preferred Qualifications: Active Top Secret Clearance
Prior experience with Ansys ModelCenter (or similar)
Prior experience with Cameo (or similar)
Prior experience in tool integration or API development
Prior experience with maintaining and optimizing database management systems
Demonstrated experience meeting business requirements with only general guidance and little preexisting structure
Demonstrated knowledge of configuration management (CM) principles, concepts, practices, and standards
Experience related to Product Support Analysis (PSA) and/or Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
Experience with Agile Release Train (ART) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
