Your expertise in Windows Client Services, including virtual desktops and infrastructure technology, will be vital in providing robust and user-friendly services to support the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) for U.S. Government customers.
This hands-on role involves maintaining and enhancing existing services, managing application packaging, deployment requests, and troubleshooting for various technologies. Collaboration with the Security Compliance team is essential to ensure compliance with security standards across desktop environments.

A successful Windows Client Engineer will:
- Design and implement new services.
- Improve and automate current services.
- Mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of core ADC services, including directory services and application servers.
- Enhance operational systems and processes amid growing system demands.
- Resolve critical issues promptly and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead a team of Operational Engineers focused on delivering reliable services.
- Develop self-healing automation and monitoring tools.
Requirements: - Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Associate's degree, or industry certifications such as Cloud+ or GSEC.
- Over eight years of experience supporting Windows operating systems, including expertise in key competencies like AD, DHCP, and PowerShell.
- Experience with automation/scripting in PowerShell and deploying security solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree in a technical discipline.
- Ten years of experience supporting Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
