Job Scope
The Senior Windchill Solution Architect and Developer (SWSAD) is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Windchill configurations, enhancements, and third-party add-ons. This role ensures system stability while supporting Acumed's continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to gather user needs and stakeholder expectations.
  • Translate requirements into technical solutions and document, develop, and deploy them.
  • Assist in creating roadmaps, disaster recovery, security, and data backup/restoration policies.
  • Develop software validation protocols with test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Proactively mitigate risks and resolve Windchill-related issues.
  • Plan and deploy upgrades, patches, and configurations.
  • Oversee consulting arrangements and manage Windchill licensing.
  • Mentor Windchill developers.
  • Manage multiple projects independently.
Qualifications
  • BS + 7 years in a related field or 10 years experience in Windchill development/support.
  • Expertise in Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink configurations/customizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Part Management, Change Management, and Workflow modules.
  • Experience in bulk data migration and large-scale Windchill implementations.
  • Ability to lead Windchill training and best practices.
  • Skilled in documenting complex processes and leading troubleshooting sessions.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to process ownership.
